Singing from an early age, Monika Wilagos always knew music was her destiny. As a young child she used to perform at her family and friends’ parties. Later as a teenager she was invited to sing for school and other events.
Monika’s big break came in 2006 when she moved to London, where she met a producer who was looking for a singer to work with. From this meeting came her album, ‘Taste Me’, which was released in December 2009. Songs from that album included ‘Taste Me’, ‘Another Life’, and ‘Summertime’. In February 2011, Monika released her second album, ‘Evolution’, which featured the song, ‘No Matter Who You Are’ – a positive, feel good song Wilagos meant to inspire everyone in the world to not give up what they really want from life.
Third album, ‘Diversity’, released in 2012, and fourth album ‘Looking West’, from August 2014, brought her to the attention of some talented producers, and she has recently released her latest EP, ‘Eternity’. The EP contains the song, ‘Get It Up – Shake It Up’ ft Mr Blarny. Monika has also written a song, ‘Love Is Broken’, with Australian blues band, Random Jammer.
Monika is currently working on an acoustic album.
