We Get Our Beauty Sleep in the ‘Dark’ from Belfast Indie Band

Beauty Sleep

Brand new Belfast Indie band, Beauty Sleep lull us with their dreamy debut release, ‘Dark’.

Soft and sultry with vocals sounding like a cross between Lana Del Rey and Sade, Beauty Sleep combines elements of dream pop and 80s synth sounds. The band is composed of Ryan McGroarty, Cheylene Murphy and Aimee Williamson, who met at a house party and decided to join forces and make beautiful music together.

Beauty Sleep Trio 2 (1)

None are strangers to the music scene: McGroarty and Murphy have performed together as half of Derry band, Wonder Villains, with Murphy additionally working with Go Girl, and Pleasure Beach – the latter of which was nominated on Blog Sound of 2016. Aimee Williamson, the third member of the trio, is bassist for Belfast’s Little Neddy Goes To War.

‘Dark’ will be available for purchase and download on Friday February 19, with the single launched at Bar Sub, Belfast, on the following Friday, 26 February.
