King No-One are set to release their bold new single, ‘Stay Close’ on 18 March.Â
The alt-rock quartet from York have drawn comparisons with The Bravery and Foals, and yet we feel a certain 80s vibe about their track, ‘Stay Close’, which reminds us of bands like Depeche Mode and The Human League.
‘Stay Close’ features gritty guitar riffs and was produced and mixed by Steve Harris, who’s worked with Kodaline. The band has seen their previous singles picked up by BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), BBC Radio 2 (Dermot O’Leary) Tom Robinson’s show on BBC 6 Music, and Dan O’Connell on Radio X. ‘Constellations’ was added to Radio 1’s Best of BBC Introducing list for 2015. King No-One also received national exposure when they appeared on Channel 4 programme, Sunday Brunch.
