Mi’das Has the Golden Touch with New Single

Mi'das

At Essentially Pop we’re always on the hunt for new and exciting artists to check out and London based singer/songwriter Mi’das is right up our street.

When we found out about his new single, ‘Feels Like Only Yesterday’ we decided to take a listen and here’s what we thought. Taken from his debut album, ‘All Inside Your Head’, set for release in early 2016, the track produced by Nathan Williams is all kinds of brilliant.

Soulful, melodic vocals are matched with a soothing guitar line taking us right back to the 60s and 70s days; Mi’das is a breath of fresh air with his unique sound, pulling us in as he sings of how the innocence of youth soon fades away and we all find ourselves missing it.

With his past including session work with the likes of Jessie J, Jamie Cullum and Rita Ora which in turn led to shows at the O2 Arena, Royal Albert Hall and in front of royalty at Kensington Palace. The future looks bright for this singer/songwriter so be sure to get on board sooner rather than later! If like us you’re hooked be sure to download the release for free/choose what you pay price from his official website here.

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
