Hailing from Devon, Cave Mouth are about to release their track ‘Deep Water’ and it’s a good ‘un! Described as “Guaranteed to get you up and out of your seat and sweating, Cavemouth are the aural equivalent to a night on a stairmaster, drinking Jack Daniels through a pair of fishnet tights.” we couldn’t wait to see just how this would work…
A funky, edgy melody meets us with an alluring twang getting us hooked within seconds. Their sound is unique, new and refreshing with vocals going from soothing to rough and gritty to match the track. We love the mix of blues, funk and contrasting vocal styles from Sketchy Lex and Ms. Mo showing Cave Mouth aren’t afraid to step out of the norm to make something special.
Devon isn’t really known for its music scene but this didn’t stop Cave Mouth from holding their own raves and free parties, which can be seen from their party worthy tracks. The only issue with Cave Mouth is that we’re left wanting more music, lets hope it follows soon!
