Rumboy – ‘Stay’

11229688_650752501691080_265508602767669972_nPlaying pubs since the age of 17, the soft spoken word troubadour, Jay Thackery, launches his latest concept, Rumboy, with his new single out August 17th 2015, ‘Stay’.  A proud Lancastrain with ties to Scotland, Rumboy’s Northern charms are distinct on the first single, ‘Stay’, with his folk writing style put to a pop-rock arrangement and lyrics that narrate the hardships of a personal intimate relationship. 

‘Stay’ is a great song that will be on the new EP to be launched on August 31st 2015 and features Rumboy’s talents as he expands his sound of folk songwriting and soft spoken emotional vocals into a more produced and pop-rock oriented production that really compliments the style that Jay Thackery has been known for. The music and lyrics have an emotional stigma that is sure to bring great success to Rumboy with a musical style that is unique, exciting, and refreshing.

The spotlight is on him as he uses his warm acoustic guitar tones and gentle vocals to narrate his emotional tale of loves hardships.
