Introducing: Jacey Jasnoch

Jacey Jasnoch2

Jacey Jasnoch, from Columbus, Ohio, is a rapper, singer and songwriter, covering the genres of HipHop, Pop, and R’n’B. Jacey’s MO is positive entertainment: this is reflected in his nickname, “Your Mom’s Favorite Rapper” – he appeals to fans of all genres, and his songs transcend any age-range demographic.

Finding his place not only in the hip-hop scene, but also in the hearts of music-lovers everywhere, Jacey has found himself in the midst of some curious opportunities. His first tour in 2012 was with a slew of metal and hard-core bands – the guilty pleasure of heavy-music fans. Since then Jacey has shared the stage with inspirations and friends T. Mills, G-Eazy, Moosh & Twist, John Reuben, PJ North, Cris Cab and many more.

Jacey Jasnoch’s new album, ‘Made For This’, set for release 30 June, is packed full of catchy rhythms and rhymes. Part rap part pop, part R’n’B, it’s a toe-tapper from start to finish. Our favourite track from the album, ‘Gold Digging in a Coal Mine’ is a sad tale of a girl seeking happiness in temporary things, fame, wealth, acquisition, but finding it’s all false. It has an upbeat tempo that perfectly counterbalances the storyline.

Title track, ‘Made For This’, featuring Masetti and the Jokerr, is a positive uplifting song about being the positive hope for change – “I can light the way for this nation”. It’s a great message of hope and positivity.

You can find Jacey online on his website, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Soundcloud. ‘Made For This’ can be downloaded from 30 June on iTunes and GooglePlay, with physical copies available on Jacey’s website.
