Born in Australia and now based in the US, singer songwriter and actress Clare Bowen is set to release her debut album in the UK, ahead of her first ever tour in the country. The eponymous album will be out on August 31, and has been preceded by the beautifully crafted, ‘Let It Rain’ on 27 July, a showcase of Clare’s striking vocal abilities. The track was debuted on “Whispering” Bob Harris’s BBC 2 radio show in mid-July.
Kip Moore brought his ‘Slowheart’ tour to London last week as he performed a sold out gig at Sheperds Bush O2, as part of the Country Music Week. From early in the day the queues outside the venue grew as UK Country fans vied for the best spot in what would be a packed venue. More proof, if proof were needed, that Country Music is as popular as ever in the UK. In fact at the very time Kip performed, just yards away at Bush Hall, “Whispering” Bob Harris would be announcing the line up for Country2Country 2018, the UK’s only multi day Country Music festival.
Temecula Road are starting to make a big splash in Country Music. The band is made up of sisters Emma & Maddie Salute and longtime friend Dawson Anderson and their beautiful harmonies, youthful energy and Country vibe even has Carrie Underwood hailing them as “one to watch”. They were at C2C 2017 in March of this year and have exciting times ahead of them.
