He decided enough was enough and upped sticks and moved 25 miles away – to Gary, Indiana, famous for being the hometown of the Jackson Family.

He grew up surrounded by music in the church with a father who was also muscially inclined, and he started singing in the choir, and playing drums in the church band, while still a child. At the age of 19 Joshua started leading the worship ministry, and writing his own songs, with an inspirational message of hope, and to remind people they are loved.
