Meg Myers released her new album, ‘Take Me To The Disco’ back in July, via 300 Entertainment. The album was met with critical acclaim, including from Billboard, which called it “Cathartic…life-affirming”, while Uproxx described it “as powerful as it is unsettling”. She joined forces with producer, Christian “Leggy” Landon to co-write most of the songs, and enlisted the services of drummer Victor Indrizzo (known for his work with Depeche Mode), as well as The Section Quartet, bringing in live strings.
Long celebrated for quality videos that are as innovative and provocative as the music they make, Depeche Mode is once again releasing a thrilling music video, with today’s release of ‘Going Backwards’. The stunning video, featuring a stripped-back performance of the track and filmed in 360 degree technology, and was directed by Timothy Saccenti, known for his immersive photographic style, and features Depeche Mode in a stylized, full-scale video experience.
Synth/dreamwave duo, From Apes to Angels, bring an 80s vibe to their music reminiscent of the likes of Depeche Mode, Visage, and Ultravox and more recent artists such as Chvrches and Grimes.
Comprising Millie Gaum on vocals and Andrew Brassleay on synth, From Apes To Angels are set to release their debut EP, ‘New Skin’, on July 24.
