Heather O’Neill Releases ‘Lady Blue’ And ‘Transmute’ Ahead Of New EP

Born in Ireland and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Heather O’Neill is a modern day gypsy, having lived in 18 other locations before the age of 30. The experience enabled her to have a deeply insightful world-view, which naturally moved over into her music. Her latest tracks, ‘Lady Blue’, and ‘Transmute’, evince her style, which is a provocative blend of singer-songwriter blues, infused with elements of soul, rock, and folk.

Van Gordon Martin – ‘Let it Grow’

Chicago native Van Gordon Martin is a dedicated guitarist with a love of reggae, dub, and soul music, who started his career at the age of seven. His first job was polishing and stringing guitars in a local music shop, which he followed up by playing them, mentored by Bernie Worrell, the legendary keyboardist of Parliament Funkadelic and Talking Heads fame. Van felt the need to spread his wings, and moved to Boston, where his career in music took off.
