New Boom Bap Single, ‘El Matador’, Pairs NYC Legends Mic Nickels And Method Man

One of the snippets of Mic Nickels’s latest work, the brilliant album, ‘Bars for Days’, the new video for ‘El Matador’, released last month, on July 21st. The song pairs two of New York City’s best emcees on a vibrant instrumental to produce an awesome mix. Featuring Nickels alongside the internationally recognised rapper Method Man on the track, the two play off each other incredibly well, creating a smooth flow for two and a half minutes, from start to finish. This brilliant song (and newly-released accompanying video) are just one part of Nickels’s most recent album, which released in 2021.

Irish Singer Holly Munro Releases Debut Single ‘Give Yourself Love’

Last week, on July 28th, Irish singer-songwriter Holly Munro released her debut single, the pop anthem titled ‘Give Yourself Love’, on all major streaming platforms. Sister to chart-topping Irish star duo Hudson Taylor, she toured with the two as a backup vocalist for some time, while also opening for the duo some nights, then took some time to work on her own music – with the fruits of that work showing itself in Munro’s latest single.

Last week, on July 21st, American pop artist ellakate released an accompanying music video for her most recent single, titled ‘Dry’, which released the week before last, on July 14th. ‘Dry’, along with another single ellakate released last month titled ‘I’m Yours’, are the first singles off her debut EP, which releases later this fall in August. The song details the pain and exhaustion she has experienced in the past, describing it as a ‘vicious cycle of exhaustion’.

MONSTA X’s SHOWNU & HYUNGWON Release Joint Mini Album ‘THE UNSEEN’

Yesterday, MONSTA X members SHOWNU and HYUNGWON released their first mini album, titled ‘THE UNSEEN’, accompanied by a music video for ‘Love Me A Little’, the focus track on the album. ‘THE UNSEEN’ is MONSTA X’s most recent project since ‘The Dreaming’, released in December 2021, and is already making the rounds on the internet for its high production quality and the duo’s incredible vocals.
