This Saturday, April 25, at 11 pm PT (Sunday, April 26 at 2 am ET), SuperM will perform a full concert set which will be streamed live to over 200 countries. This is the first in a series of shows to be broadcast via SM Entertainment and Naver V LIVE’s groundbreaking new concert streaming series, Beyond LIVE. Subtitles will be available in several different languages for viewers all around the world.
Rufus Wainwright, whose highly-anticipated new pop album ‘UNFOLLOW THE RULES’ is out on July 10th, has today announced he will open the brand-new Royal Albert Home sessions with Royal Albert Hall. Royal Albert Home is a programme of free, nightly streamed shows, direct from artists’ living rooms and designed to keep the spirit of the venue alive while we’re closed. The season begins with Rufus Wainwright tomorrow evening, other acts confirmed to take part include Baxter Dury, Ayanna Witter-Johnson and Roddy Woomble, with more to be announced.
It’s only March and already it’s been a tough year for all live performers because of the COVID-19 pandemic. No less so than Jedward, who back in January announced their Voice Of A Rebel U.K. tour dates, to originally take place in May. 5 Seconds of Summer once again teamed up with director Hannah Lux Davis (Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, 5SOS’ ‘No Shame’) for the official ‘Old Me’ video. Filmed in Sydney, Australia, the video recreates moments throughout the band’s career and includes home footage from their early beginnings. The final shot features 5 Seconds of Summer walking onto the stage at the Fire Fight Australia benefit concert for National Bushfire Relief. Watch the video:
It was July 1986 and I was standing at Wembley waiting to see Queen play their last world tour date at the famous National Stadium. I had watched support bands INXS, Status Quo and The Alarm whip the sold out crowd into a frenzy of expectant excitement that seemed almost impossible to match and yet, and unsurprisingly, Queen managed to not only match but surpass all expectations in what became remembered as an iconic gig.
