Jedsheeran Strike Again With Jedward And Ed Sheeran Meet Up In Los Angeles

They’ve been firm friends for more than a decade, finding a common ground in their age and their Irish roots, and Ed always makes time for John and Edward when the three find themselves in the same city. Ed even sent the pair a painting he made for his single, ‘Afterglow’, with Jedward returning the favour by painting a picture for Ed’s daughter Lyra, now hanging with pride in her room. Their friendship has given the world fun stories such as Ed picking up the Dublin duo when he saw the streets of Toronto while the three were in town for the 2013’s Much Music Awards. He also famously fobbed off the opportunity to go out with Sir Paul McCartney after an event to hang out with Jedward. And who could forget their “JedSheeran” video, filmed backstage at Ed’s Glasgow concert a few years back?

Now the pals find themselves in LA, with Jedward putting the finishing touches on their upcoming fifth album, and Ed in town to promote his new album, ‘=’, as well as his new Christmas duet with Sir Elton John, ‘Merry Christmas’. Naturally the three caught up, with Jedward sharing some selfies on their socials, plus some pics from a fun soccer game, where, John adds, he kicked the winning goal.

Later the duo were guests at Ed’s Small Stage Series performance for SiriusXM Hits 1 at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.

Ed is off to New York next, but we can’t help but wonder if the trio had some time to jam together? In the past John and Edward have said they were concentrating on EDM, but they’ve talked to Ed about making some more stripped back music together. Likewise, Ed has said they’ve talked about it. Maybe now is the time, given his latest dance music releases, such as ‘Bad Habits’, and ‘Shivers’? We can’t wait to see what happens next!
