Vin Mack – ‘I Need You Lord’

Christian singer Vin Mack comes from a large family with a strong faith. A native of Washington DC, Vin knew from a very early age that he wanted to be a singer and an actor. He attended Howard University, and then had his big break came in the 90s, whilst working as an intern at BET. It was during this internship that he changed his plans of becoming a secular singer to instead following his faith and dedicating his music to God and His teaching. Vin spreads hope and wisdom with every passing single, and his latest, ‘I Need You Lord’, is no exception.

Starting with gentle piano chords, ‘I Need You Lord’ sees Vin Mack singing about peace and hope. His strong and beautiful vocals swell, as swaying music playing in the background. A song of praise and adoration, ‘I Need You Lord’ sees Vin give thanks to God and all the wonderful things He has blessed him with. The song also brings hope and encouragement to all those who listen to it.

The video for  ‘I Need You Lord’ is as powerful and moving as the song, opening on a zoomed-out shot of Vin, standing on top of a mountain with his hands pressed together in praise. The rest of the video shows him singing and dancing with the camera, while standing on different rock formations. It’s altogether a very visually stunning clip, which fits perfectly with this track.
