Athena Skye Releases Latest Single ‘Oxytocin’

Set for release on 21 May, ‘Oxytocin’ is the new single from RnB singer, Athena Skye.

The track, written after the breakup, and subsequent reconciliation with her long-term girlfriend, Skye, who bases herself both in Atlanta and London, makes good use of her lyrical talents, deliberate beats, and powerful vocal prowess, taking her listeners through themes of love, loss, and lust.

Skye calls to mind the sonic stylings of Ariana Grande, while her vocals are reminiscent of Tori Kelly. ‘Oxytocin’ is quite the departure from Athena Skye’s previous material, and is the first track to be released from her up and coming EP. Her raw, candid, and smart lyrics are are paired with some dark sonic elements, and she compels her listeners by highlighting vulnerabilities we can all relate to.

Athena Skye has amassed a considerable following, due no less in part to her music attracting more than a million Tik Tok views, and ‘Oxytocin’ serves as a showcase for her songwriting and vocal talents.
