Papa Roy Foundation Releases Debut Single ‘Say’

Released 26 February, Papa Roy Foundation’s single, ‘Say’ brings us out of the darkness and gloom of winter, and into the glorious light. You can stream and download the upbeat single here.

It’s hard to believe this is a debut track, as Papa Roy Foundation fill your senses with their bright and vibrant dance single, ‘Say’. The track precedes their debut album, ‘Out Of The Darkness’, which is set for release later this year, and if this track is anything to go by, the album is bound to be a hit! At just under 4 minutes long, Papa Roy Foundation has the listener entranced right from the very start with their funky grooves and rapid fire dance rhythm that harks back to the sound of Amazulu.

Comprising Rouge, Skxllzy, Marc, and Papa Roy, UK based dance and pop group Papa Roy Foundation took the opportunities presented to them in 2020 and rediscovered their past passions. The group rediscovered some recordings laid down by Papa in his younger days, and were inspired to record their debut album and single. Their name derives from Polynesian mythology, and with it they bring music that transcends all genres. ‘Out Of The Darkness’ is the first in an album trilogy.
