Magnetik Zu Releases Latest Single, ‘Let You Go’

‘Let You Go’ is the latest single from Australian House artist, Magnetik Zu. She first came to prominence in 2015, when she played alongside The Bloody Beetroots. Since then she’s established herself with regular sets in Sydney, as well as Queensland’s Hamilton Island, and The Gold Coast, on a frequent basis. She’s also performed in Los Angeles.

‘Let You Go’ sees Magnetik Zu expose her soul, in a track that brings out the best of her distinctive sound, that’s both sombre and sultry at the same time. Written for those who have loved and lost, the lyrics are heartwrenching, and the melodies are haunting. The track is instrumentally complex, with melancholy piano and electric guitars driving forward the anger that we find ourselves feeling in times of loss.

Speaking of the song, the artist said,

“I wrote this song after experiencing a massive heart break and learning that letting go was the right thing to do even if it was the hardest.”

Magnetik Zu describes her sound as “Zunique”, with its blend of electric guitars and dark, edgy elements. She cites Dua Lipa and Anabel Englund as being among her primary influences.
