Mia Milano Releases Debut Single, ‘Real One’

R & B / Trap /soul artist Mia Milano bursts onto the music scene with her debut single, ‘Real One’.

Based on her own personal experience, the song was written for anyone who’s been badly treated by their partner. The single is both heart-wrenchingly honest, and self-affirming, with a message of positivity and confidence that will inspire anyone who has been through a similar situation.

Mia’s rich vocals take a half-sung, half-spoken style on the track, set against an electronic instrumental.

Although just under 2 and a half minutes long, ‘Real One’ nonetheless allows Mia to confidently convey her feelings and gives an empowering serve to the one who did her wrong. Signed to Doesick Music Group, she’s setting herself up as someone to watch, with her angelic voice in direct contrast with the lyrics which are a slap in the face to anyone who dares get on her bad side.

Mia Milano cites among her influences Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Lil Wayne, with the former her clearest inspiration. She has been performing since she was a child, which is evident in her style and self-possession.

Mia is set to release her second single, ‘Accuse’, in a few months, and if ‘Real One’ is anything to go by, then the artist is certainly on her way up.
