Gregory Allan Releases Music Video For ‘Getup’

Australian musician Gregory Allan has released an inspirational music video for his new single, ‘Getup’. The track reflects on life and the trials and errors, successes and failures, we experience while trying out many different projects over time.

The message of Gregory’s single is to “get up” and that only by doing so we can conquer all the difficulties we encounter and obstacles in our way. He encourages us to show determination in order to master and overcome our problems, and in turn defeat them. The song is something we can all relate to.

Gregory has been involved with music for as long as he can remember, starting out at an early age playing drums, guitar, and keyboard. Later on he got into DJing. He’s been writing his own music for a while now, and after sharing with his friends, and receiving their positive feedback, he decided to release it to the wider world. Although Gregory has previously produced a number of songs, ‘Getup’ is his first official release, and with any luck will do what he set out to do, and inspire his listeners to get out and Getup.

Passionate also about cinematography, Gregory produced the video for ‘Getup’, and filmed it on Australia Day, January 26, this year, little knowing what was yet to come. His message of attempting, falling, and eventually getting up again has taken on a whole new relevance in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the incredible challenges faced by the world today. We all need to tackle our challenges face on, and ‘Getup’!
