Essential Advent Calendar: December 18 – Meghan Trainor’s First Christmas Album ‘A Very Trainor Christmas’

Day 18 of our Essential Advent Calendar and GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter Meghan Trainor has released her first-ever Christmas album, A Very Trainor Christmas, via Epic Records.

Get A Very Trainor Christmas now HERE.

A Very Trainor Christmas is packed with all your favourite Holiday classics along with a total of six new original songs, including the previously released “I’ll Be Home” and “My Kind of Present.” “Holidays” [feat. Earth, Wind & Fire] dangles mistletoe from the disco ball as funky horns and a wild beat resound through Christmas Eve and into the morning. “Christmas Party” brings the entire family together, while “Christmas Got Me Blue” gets everyone dancing.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the holidays without friends and family. Seth MacFarlane joins Meghan for a soulful and sweet rendition of “White Christmas,” while Meghan’s cousins, Jayden, Jenna, & Marcus Toney take flight with “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Marking the most sentimental moment of all, dad Gary Trainor guests on a joyous “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.”

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
