Kenward Releases Debut Album ‘Safe And Sound’

Set for release on December 1, and inspired by his transition into fatherhood, ‘Safe And Sound’ is the debut album from singer-songwriter Kenward. The artist initially wanted to write a song for his son, and found that he instead wrote a concept album, which follows the story of a parent, who is determined to protect their child for the rest of their lives.

Kenward, the performing name of Tom Kenward, has a gentle vocal style that is reminiscent of Kodaline, and the Lumineers, as well as James Arthur, and Ed Sheeran. It’s easy to imagine Kenward’s sweet voice gently soothing a baby to sleep, as he expresses himself with gentle harmonies, and instrumentals akin to a lullaby.

Speaking of his music, Kenward said,

“I keep my tracks quite simple with guitar, sometimes some strings and drums but the music is raw to suit the emotions being conveyed.”

Kenward’s simple instrumentals allow him to lift the song and showcase his pure, clear vocals, and convey the absolute joy he feels in parenthood, and his children.
