Jane N’ The Jungle – ‘Lucky 7’

Arizona alternative rock group Jane N’ The Jungle have been a fixture on Essentially Pop since June 2017. They always bring a distinctive sound with them, borne of the diversely different musical backgrounds of childhood friends, Jordan White and Brian Dellis.

Their latest single, ‘Lucky 7′, comes with a stripped back music video that just lets the music do the work. There’s no over the top production, no sparkling backdrops; it’s just Jane N’ The Jungle, aka Jordan, Brian, and bassist Bryan Dague, aka Big D – along with their instruments and their absolute synergy, which is felt in every second, every note.

The band says they wrote the song about a night they had while playing a show in Las Vegas, and they were hanging out at the Longhorn Casino, in the east of that city. They’ve taken that memory and replicated it through the freewheeling chorus, and the raw footage of the video. The group are shown just jamming; on stage, in the studio, hanging about the motel balcony and car park. It’s a fly on the wall view of Jane N’ The Jungle and it shows them like we’ve never seen them before – and we like it.

Lucky 7 was released on October 2, and produced by Chuck Alkazian. It comes from their latest album, ‘Animal’, which you can stream and download here.
