Harrisen Larner-Main Releases Debut EP ‘Come Along’

A former contestant on The Voice, Harrisen Larner-Main is set to release his superb 5 track EP, ‘Come Along’, on November 28.

The singer songwriter, who hails from Weston-Super-Mare, and has been writing music since his was 13, has been building a name for himself around the south west of England, and has also toured across Europe, North America and the Caribbean, before winning a slot on The Voice last year, where he was mentored by Olly Murs, who encouraged him to push his songwriting and performing abilities further.

Harrisen mostly wrote the tracks for the EP while he was on the road in Europe, and says that the inspiration for the songs have been “bubbling under the surface” for some time. Although at first glance it seems like a break up album, it sets itself apart as Harrisen doesn’t just catalogue his feelings of loss and heartbreak, but he also gives his listeners a fresh view on lost love, and how it can have a positive effect on our lives when it doesn’t actually work out for the relationship.

During his time on The Voice, Harrisen forged a working relationship with producer Andy Hall Hall, and together they took his demos, recorded on the tour bus, and in his garden shed, and transformed them into fully produced tracks. Mastering for ‘Come Along’ was done by Ryan Smith, at Sterling Studios, who is known for his work with Adele, Paolo Nutini, and Coldplay, among others.

Harrisen’s sound, although uniquely his own, will appeal to fans of James Bay, Tom Odell, Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran, and Coldplay. His soft toned vocals and considerable lyrical prowess, together with simple instrumentals – piano and guitar, are sure to find him plenty of radio play.

Pre-save ‘Come Along’ here and receive ‘Curtains’ as a grat-track. The song was recorded on an upright piano at Church Studios, Crouch End, London.
