Sharon Hendrix – ‘Believe and Become’

Sharon Hendrix’s CV is a who’s who of music, having worked alongside the likes of Bob Dylan, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Olivia Newton-John, Dusty Springfield, Harry Chapin, and Barry Manilow. The latter is the one she’s most famous for, having toured the world and recorded with him since 1978, including a duet on his 1985 rendition of ‘Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing’.

Sharon’s solo work reflects all that she’s learned from working with the greats, and her most recent single, ‘Believe And Become’, shows that not only has she taken notes from them, but also from more contemporary artists, with her new track as empowering an anthem as if it had come from Katy Perry, or Adele. She brings in all the strength and softness in turn, her voice rising and falling as the music requires, and leading the listener as she tells her story with her words.
