Hugo Andre And Dulce Somnia Release Latest Single ‘Bad Things’

‘Bad Things’ is the latest single from UK songwriters Hugo Andre and Dulce Somnia, and follows the story of a relationship falling apart.

The duo have been friends for many years, and for ‘Bad Things’ they spent a great deal of time ensuring the sound and lyrics were just right, and that they captured exactly what they wanted to say. A groovy and very catchy, yet somewhat downbeat track, it explores the fine line between love and lust, while thematically it’s about betrayal. With a hooky chorus that draws the listener in and refuses to let go, along with charismatic vocal riffs, ‘Bad Things’ does what it says on the tin, and by drawing out darker influences and references, creates a thoroughly defined picture of toxic love.

‘Bad Things’ is the first collaboration for the pair, and the first single release altogether for Dulce Somnia, who takes his stage name from the Latin translation of “sweet dreams”. A fitting name for his hypnotic singing style, the RnB artist is set to make his mark with further releases. Hugo Andre was previously a filmmaker, and imbues his love of the visual in all his work, including the music videos which he makes himself for all his songs.
