tigerlily Releases Stunning New Track ‘lisbon’

New Yorker songstress tigerlily has just dropped her beautiful single “lisbon.” You can now stream it on Spotify now! We all love a good lyric video, so make sure you check out the one for “lisbon” below:

tigerlily first started in music as the front girl of an all-girl grunge band named “Seattle’s Best Underage Band.” Now, she is out in the world releasing her solo music and we are living for it! “lisbon” showcases the singers’ vocals beautifully. The meaning behind the track focuses on thinking of someone you care about and how it hurts that they don’t feel the same way.

The opening lyrics “I don’t want you, yet I don’t want to walk away” draw you in instantly! The moment you hear that line, you know you’re going to relate to it in some way. We’ve all been in that situation where you no longer wish to be with someone, but you still can’t let them go and still plan your future with them. Although it revolves around an emotional topic, tigerlily executes it so perfectly that you’ll find yourself breaking the repeat button.

It may not be a dance track, but it still has that summer vibe to it. Almost in a reminiscent way. It may make you feel nostalgic about a past summer love. Or, it may help you through a current situation. The best songs are the ones that make you feel emotions that you need to feel to process events in your everyday life – “lisbon” sure does this.

We’re loving this track and can’t wait to see what else tigerlily has to offer! Connect with on, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok and let her know what you think!
