Tyler Boone Is ‘Gettin’ High’ With New Single

‘Gettin’ High’ is the new single from Americana and rock songwriter Tyler Boone. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, he’s now living in Los Angeles, and has signed his first record deal with Antifragile Music, the label belonging to music legend Tom Sarig, who launched the careers of Lou Reed, CAKE, and Against Me!, among others.

Antifragile Music is known for their skill at getting major streaming placements for their artists on Spotify, Apple, and Amazon, and through that, Gold Records.

‘Gettin’ High’ is a rocking tune, and in keeping with its title, has a primarily psychedelic sound, bolstered by Boone’s incredible guitar playing, a skill which has seen him made an official Taylor Guitars endorsed artist. Boone’s guitar playing is right up there with the best of them, and ‘Gettin’ High’ sees plenty of opportunities for him to show off his chops.

The upbeat track is autobiographical in nature, with Boone singing of his life as a performing musician. In the song, which is accompanied by a lyric video, he goes through the story of how he decided to make music his life, and he never says no, and “no never met me”. The “getting high” in the song therefore has a different meaning – Boone is indeed getting high, in his career.

Outside of his music, Tyler Boone has a Gold Award winning bourbon brand, Boone’s Bourbon, which is available to purchase from stores in 9 states (SC, GA, NC, TN, FL, NY, OK, AZ, CA, FL), and via online order in 38 states.

‘Gettin’ High’, by Tyler Boone, was released on May 22 through Antifragile Records. You can find out more about Tyler Boone from his Official Website, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, and Twitter.
