EDM artist Jay Anthony reveals his unique cover of ‘I Follow Rivers’ by Swedish artist Lykke Li. The updated version of the track, re-titled ‘Follow Rivers’ and featuring Duchess, can now be streamed on Spotify.
This sensational version of the song features the very talented rising vocalist Duchess. The combination of Jay’s insane DJ skills and Duchess’ dreamlike vocals create the perfect collaboration. “Follow Rivers” is a difficult song to get out of your head after you’ve listened to it. Easy to listen to, impossible not to tap your foot along to the catchy beat. An absolute must-listen.
Jay has always been a fan of old-school disco and dance tracks. He uses this interest as inspiration for his musical creations. ‘Follow Rivers’ definitely shows this influence, giving an incredible EDM twist to the original. He states that,
“I am hoping my music can lift people’s spirits in the current climate as music is such a great way of bringing people together, even though we are apart.”
Jay has had quite the journey in his career up until this point. From working alongside other EDM artists at his own independent record label in his younger years to then making a career change and working in make-up for a long period in his life. Now, his path has to lead him back to making music again – and we can’t wait to see what else he has in store!
