Electronic Pop Band Dildorado Releases Latest Single ‘Sailor Boy’

With clear influences from the likes of Scissor Sisters and Giorgio Moroder, Swedish pop quartet Dildorado have been taking the gay community by storm with their song, ‘Sailor Boy’, which was originally released in 2010. Now reimagined and released with a variety of new mixes and fresh sounds, ‘Sailor Boy’ takes on a whole new audience with its entirely fresh sound.

Based in Stockholm, Dildorado comprises Sailor Boy, Captain, Misty, and Horny, and the group take disco and give it an entirely new twist. Their songs include ‘United Fruit’, their tribute to the 1969 Stonewall Riots, which was selected as the official song for Stockholm Pride in 2015, and ‘I’m Lovin It’ which explores the sexuality of a certain clown…They also released a cover of the ABBA classic, ‘SOS’, with permission from ABBA’s Benny Andersson.

‘Sailor Boy’ is available to stream and download on all major platforms, and is also available as a yellow vinyl, via Dildorado’s Discogs profile, and Facebook. Find out more about Dildorado on Twitter and Instagram. You can listen to it on SoundCloud, and Spotify. Watch the lyric video below:
