Curtis Casey Covers Roy Orbison’s ‘Crying’

Curtis Casey covers Roy Orbison’s much-loved song ‘Crying’. The track was released on May 1, and is available to stream through Spotify.

Curtis showcases his mellow tones throughout the track, giving it that easy to listen to vibe. The perfect song to calm your mind and listen to through a relaxation period…although it might also pull on a few heartstrings! Roy Orbinson’s work can truly make you appreciate the art form that is music and this is something that Curtis admires greatly. He says;

“Roy Orbison could make you feel things with his songs and to me, that’s the mark of great art. With a song like Crying it was hard for me to hear it and not be taken in by the sheer integrity of the piece.”

It’s clear to see that Curtis wants to make his listeners connect with the piece just as Roy Orbison has done so successfully. “Crying” has certainly made an impression on the singer and now, he wants everyone else to experience this – which he has done so beautifully.

So who is Curtis Casey? He was the former frontman of the hard rock group ‘Vayden‘ and is now focusing more on his solo material. We will certainly look forward to seeing what else he has up his sleeve. Be sure to follow him on Instagram for more updates.
