Artist Dareo Knott Releases Latest Single ‘Addicted’ Featuring Connie Hope

Out now, ‘Addicted’ from Dareo Knott jumps out at the gate and is guaranteed to win over everyone who listens. Reminscent of Lady Gaga’s hit song, ‘Born This Way’, ‘Addicted’ is similarly empowering.

The first single from his upcoming album, ‘Freakquency’, ‘Addicted’ celebrates dance, 90s fashion, and dance, as it explores unhealthy relationships, and contrasts this very important topic with its fun and upbeat backbeat.

The track features vocals by Connie Hope, and was written by Dareo himself. ‘Addicted’ serves as a fabulous introduction to an artist who is clearly set for big things.

A proud activist, and member of the LGBT community, Jamaican-born and Manchester-based Dareo Knott is a performer and producer, who uses his music to express himself, and guide himself through difficulties. He sees his music as a tool and a powerful platform by which to explore and promote issues faced by the LGBT community. Dareo Knott cites Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Kim Petras as his biggest inspirations, but we feel that Lady Gaga has possibly had an influence too, even if unconsciously.

You can find out more about Dareo Knott on his Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. Stream more of Dareo’s music, including ‘Addicted’, on Spotify, and Soundcloud.
