Iceland’s rising star Áslaug is bringing some much needed light into 2020 with her self-titled debut EP. She has put together four tracks for ‘Áslaug’, one of which being last year’s single release ‘Take From Me’.
With a style that channels HAIM or Lykke Li, she makes each track her own with intricate folds of synth melodies or soft, breathy vocals. This time around, ‘In My Head’ is the lead single, and we absolutely love its resolute pop drive and punchy tones that leave you singing it for hours.
Newly named one of Deezer’s Next artists, there is little doubt Áslaug will continue to make her mark this year. Listen to her dreamy EP below.
