Love is still in the air beyond Valentine’s Day, and 80s hip hop and RnB icons Force M.D’s are all about gentle patient adoration that’s lit best by candlelight, in their song, ‘Make U Happy’.
Their latest single, ‘Make U Happy’, sees the group, whose legacy is now continued by Steven Lundy (Stevie D), Khalil Lundy, and nephew Zieme Capers, continuing in the same style as when they formed on Staten Island back in 1981. Stevie D and Khalil were founding members, and brought in Zieme, following the deaths, and other departures, of previous members.
The video for ‘Make U Happy’ sees a backdrop of glittering gold outfits, plush furniture, and romantic serenades. Released on Valentine’s Day the clip shows the three members smooth talking the individual women in their lives, and they harmonise, on white couches in the studio, and in front of an adoring audience. Soft smiles and love characterise the video, bringing hope and love to viewer and listener alike.
