Delivering a new sound for 2DEX to get 2020 off to a flying start this week is Rapta. The Boston-based producer marks his second release on the label – the first being ‘Farewell’ – with ‘Energy Therapy’.
This is nothing short of a delightful piece of work. There are smooth quips of R&B and pop notes, whilst the melody comes cleanly supported by some well-placed, rolling percussion. Rapta explains a little more about its meaning, sharing:
“I just feel like there was lot I needed to get off my chest and for anyone trying to knock my blessings, I dedicate to you.”
