Premiere: U.S Duo Peppermint Heaven Share Retro-Tinged New Single ‘Waiting For You’

LA based synth pop duo Peppermint Heaven have released their latest single. ‘Waiting For You’, out today, is an infectiously strong start for the new decade, and the perfect cap to a big 2019.

Peppermint Heaven, aka Juno and Spark, released two EPs last year in the form of, ‘New Moons’, and ‘Sunshine Days’, which saw them firmly secure their place in the vast pantheon of retro-inspired indie-pop music. The releases also saw the pair continue their long standing work relationship with the most promising production talents in the UK. Their prolific output and hard work ethic have seen their music surpass 7 million streams on Spotify alone, with their courageous take on 80s style music earning them a cult following both in the States and beyond.

With a view to a strong start this decade, Peppermint Heaven have wasted no time in dropping their first single for the year, in the form of ‘Waiting For You’. Deeply nuanced with a funky bassline, the track also includes many sombre elements, while maintaining their trademark 80s-style sound, while bearing to contemporary production standards. ‘Waiting For You’ comes ahead of their next EP release, which fans will surely eagerly eat up.
