Simply Red Release New Track ‘Sweet Child’

Following a storming set at Radio 2 in Hyde Park and the announcement of a huge 2020 Autumn tour, Simply Red today release new soulful-ballad ‘Sweet Child’. The single is taken from their 12th studio album, ‘Blue Eyed Soul’, which will be released on November 8th on BMG.

Effortlessly soulful, the dreamy string section compliments the catchy guitar riff on ‘Sweet Child’. This coupled with Mick’s instantly recognisable vocal line makes for a classic Simply Red song. On the track Mick commented,

“We (alleged) grown ups should be asking ourselves if we will be leaving this world in better shape for our children than it is for us. So, are we? Or are we failing them?”
