Beso Rebelde Set To Release Brand New Single ‘Neon’

With an official release date of 7 November, Latin synth-pop artist Beso Rebelde’s latest single, ‘Neon’, is a powerful track which blends intricate rhythms, driving bass lines, and an infectious vocal.

‘Neon’ is the follow up track to Beso’s June release, ‘Canta’. The song comes from a place of “intentional vulnerability” – allowing yourself to be loved, and accept that hurt is part of that. Beso says,

“It’s about struggling to let my walls down in a relationship”, she says. The song offers self guidance for Rebelde, offering herself a chance to open up to be “hurt, loved and to let the music take me over.”

‘Neon’ is a pulsating dance anthem, the Latin rhythms reflecting her culure: born in San Francisco, Beso has Mexican, Guatemalan, and Spanish heritage, and all of these have inspired her music, giving it an upbeat, dance-y style. Additionally, Beso has been inspired by other Latin artists such as Sergio Mendez, Odesza, and Bebel Gilberto, with her music drawing comparisons to the likes of Kali Uchis, and Bomba Estereo.

‘Neon’ will be available on all digital media platforms from 7 November. 2020 will see her release an EP, as well as touring.
