Bombay Bicycle Club Announces New Album And UK/Ireland Tour!

Bombay Bicycle Club have recently announced that their brand-new album, ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’, will be released on the 17th January 2020. A UK/Ireland tour will follow starting on the 20th January in Cambridge.

‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’ is the well anticipated new album by the British band after their number 1 charting fourth album ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’, which was released back in 2014. The album was mainly recorded in the US alongside Grammy Award winning producer John Congleton. The first single of the album ‘Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)’ is available to stream through Spotify now, although this single is only a taste of what’s to come.

The band state that:

“This is an album for anyone who’s ever turned to music in a time of crisis, whether personal or political. It’s about the solace one can get from listening to music or playing music when everything else has gone wrong. It’s about finding kernels of hope and renewal in dire situations.”

Bombay Bicycle Club’s musical journey began back in 2009 where they were just teenagers. They have continued to develop and grow as a band, which shows in the new music that they’re releasing.

Alongside the album, the four-piece band will be doing a huge 13 date headline tour across the UK and Ireland, with support acts The Big Moon, and Liz Lawrence. By pre-ordering the album, you will receive early access pre-sale tickets for the tour available on the 10th September, general tickets will then be released from 10am on the 13th September. You can pre-order the album through the band’s website here.

These tickets are sure to sell out fast as the handful of shows that they will be doing to celebrate their 10-year anniversary in November sold out in seconds so be sure to get in there quick. More updates can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
