DLRN (feat. Rich The Kid) – ‘Trap Boomin’

Out of Sacremento, DLRN follows in the footsteps of an incredible retinue of West Coast rap artists. His highly anticipated single, ‘Trap Boomin’, is out now, and features Rich The Kid.

‘Trap Boomin’ is all about working hard for what you want, while at the same time dedicating yourself to represent where you’re from. It’s a difficult task but he’s well up to it. DLRN has been making strong strides in the direction of becoming a dominant force in the hip hop world. Likewise, Rich The Kid, who bursts in with bars about having a hundred racks and too many zeroes for him to count, is showing what he’s made of. Both clearly have huge futures ahead of them.

The video for ‘Trap Boomin’ includes a cast of those who DLRN might suggest are not “trap born”. Wearing business suits, drinking red wine in a mansion, they’re not living that trap life that DLRN raps about. Nonetheless, they emulate the life – putting on grills, waving hand signs around like they were in the hood – they’re posers, who want to take the trappings of trap without working for it.
