88 Lo ft. 88 Goldie – ‘Nothins Changed’

88 LO, incorporates that legendary East Coast hip-hop flavour in his works, and his latest release, ‘Nothins Changed’ is no exception to this.

The new single is just the latest example of the sound he’s been cultivating with his 88 Music Group crew, a team of like-minded artists and guardians of the New York hip-hop tradition. They’re doing what comes naturally – telling stories about their experiences and their struggles, laid over powerful beats.

In the video for ‘Nothins Changed’ 88 LO steps out of an electric blue Lamborghini and strolls into an equally stylish mansion. Meanwhile, 88 Goldie sings the hook from the heart of the projects. Though his surroundings are rough, he’s showered with love. By contrast 88 LO, shares his mansion with a pair of armed bodyguards. The moral to the story is clear: pleasure and pain can be found everywhere, from the meanest streets to the poshest address.
