Nadette Releases Latest EP ‘Nadette Vol 1’

British/Maltese Nadette shares her soulful vocals on her new EP, ‘Nadette Vol1’, which was released on 11 July.

The six-track EP is her first official release, coming after several years of writing new music. The primary focus on the record is love in its many forms, with a reminder that we should not just love others, but also love ourselves, and draws from her own personal experiences. ‘Nadette Vol 1’, with its promise of more to come, is a totally relatable release, with the songs covering situations we’ve all been in.

Nadette found inspiration far and wide, but particularly in the music of Prince, Marvin Gaye, Daft Punk, and – surprisingly until you realise she’s previously covered Marvin Gaye’s ‘Sexual Healing’ herself – Kate Bush.

Nadette is based in Manchester, where she has found support on BBC Radio Manchester. The EP was initially started in her bedroom studio, before being professionally finished. ‘Nadette Vol 1’ serves as a teaser for what she has lined up for the future.

‘Nadette Vol 1’ is available to stream and download across all major digital media. You can find out more about Nadette online on Facebook, Twitter,  Instagram, and SoundCloud.
