Latin Synth-Pop Artist Beso Rebelde Releases New Single, ‘Canta’

Out today ‘Canta’ is the debut single from synth pop artist Beso Rebelde.

‘Canta’ is derived from the Spanish phrase, “la luna canta”, which means, “the moon sings”. In the case of Beso’s song, it’s a track which tells the story of a secret love, which makes the singer vulnerable. Sung in a blend of English and Spanish, we feel her anguish as she describes how the pull of separation only causes her love to grow stronger.

Beso Rebelde is from San Francisco, California, but deeply in touch with her Latin roots, having ancestry from Spain, Guatemala, and Mexico. Her music blends Latin sensibilities with a Western pop edge, enhanced by synthesiser instrumentals. ‘Canta’ was recorded in Nashville Tennessee, at Battery Lane Music, and produced by Scott Gerow.

‘Canta’ is available to stream and download today across all digital platforms. You can keep up to date with Beso Rebelde online on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, as well as her official website.
