Diplo Delivers Dance Floor-Ready Remix of Carnage’s Hit Single ‘Letting People Go’

Grammy award winner Diplo has revealed remix for Carnage’s emotionally hard-hitting single “Letting People Go’ which is out now via Empire.

Diplo puts his stamp on the track by adding a catchy, dance-floor focussed beat whilst still maintaining Carnage’s (ft Prinze George) hard hitting lyrics. The original single was released back in March and has since gained an outstanding 7.5 million streams with the music video hitting over 3.6 million views and still going. “Letting People Go’ has allowed talented producer Carnage to steer away from his signature festival trap sound and show us a fresh, melodic dance record.

Diplo is one of the worlds most recognised faces within the music industry. He has worked with the biggest names in the charts including Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Travis Scott. His most recent release ‘Electricity’ – collaborating with Silk City and Mark Robson – has earnt him his 3rdGrammy win for Best Dance Recording at the beginning of the year.

Talking specifically about “Letting People Go,” Diplo jokingly states:

“I liked this song a lot and I really want Carnage to owe me a favor cause one day I might be in jail and need bail money.”

After hearing the track, Diplo reached out to Carnage and they decided to rework the song. The remix was then debuted during his set at Coachella. Carnage speaks highly and proudly of both the song and Diplo:

“#LPG is the most important recordI have ever made. My brother Diplo hit me up the day I dropped the record and said he needed to get his hands on it” he also adds that “Diplo really came through with this remix and created a dance floor banger.”

The new remix is available to stream through all streaming services. Watch the video below:
