DENIS COLEMAN HEADS ON TOUR WITH NEW HOPE CLUB

Denis Coleman has recently announced that he will be joining the New Hope Club boys on the European tour this June!

Coleman has had quite the year already having just recently supported The Vamps on their Four Corners Tour in the UK, also announcing his own headline shows taking place in July. New Hope Club’s European dates have already started, kicking off in Copenhagen and will finish on the 29th in Poland.

Coleman started his musical career at just 5 years old after picking up the violin. After realising his passion for music, he went on to composing music and started studying at the Royal College of Music. He was only 10 years old when he wrote his first ever pop song!

A few years later, he attracted the attention of talent scouts and TV shows after winning the nationwide song writing competition Open Mic UK with his original song ‘Radio’. Now at aged 15, he is a brand ambassador for ‘The Power of Muzik’ which is a mental health and anti-bullying campaign founded by celebrity vocal couch CeCe Sammy. Here Coleman travels the UK visiting schools where he shares his experience with music.

He is now working on writing new tracks with top UK producers including; Red Triangle, Joe Hartwell Jones and Raphaella. He dropped his debut single ‘YOU’ last year, followed by ‘Soft Spot’ which was released in March.

This is what Denis had to say about his most current single ‘Imperfect’, which is available to stream here:

“‘Imperfect’ is one of my favourite songs I’ve written, and its meaning really comes through on two levels. Firstly, there’s me, singing to a girl about how I’m perfectly imperfect for her. It’s kind of a promise, a sort of self-promotion and a confession at the same time.

The other underlying meaning of the song is more universal. In a world full of Photoshop and social media, the pressure to look and be perfect can be overwhelming. This song is just a little reminder that it’s ok to be imperfect, that at the end of the day our flaws make us who we are.”
