Sleepy Tom Releases New EP ‘Amateurs’ And Video Game In Collab With Fellow Canadian, Lights

Canadian DJ and music producer, Sleepy Tom has dropped his new EP, ‘Amateurs’, along with a retro video game to celebrate the release.

Experimenting and delving into territories unknown to him, the 29-year-old DJ is taking his chance with pop, leaving behind his dance surroundings.

The game is based on his own experiences, and is set to resonate with his fans much beyond being an immersive musical experience.

Collaborating with fellow Canadian artist Lights, the title track cross-pollinates several genres of music, and it and the accompanying game are both sure to be unique signatures that sets the DJ apart from the rest of the pack.

Breaking rules, and being himself through and through, Sleepy Tom stands out as a compelling artist worth listening to.

Find Sleepy Tom online on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and his official website. Lights can be found on her official website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Stream and download ‘Amateurs’ here.   Check out the video game as well!

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
