Phoenix alt rock band Jane N’ The Jungle have been hoeing their own row since they burst onto the scene back in 2013. Lead singer Jordan White, and her bandmates Brian Dellis, and Bryan Dague, have crafted their own style, which sounds like a blend of classic 90s female led rock bands, such as No Doubt, and The Cranberries, as well as newer groups such Paramore, Dorothy, and Florence + The Machine.
We’ve written about Jane N’ The Jungle many times over their career, but with the release of their latest single, ‘Little Blue’, we’re here to say that they’ve only getting started, and 2019 is going to be a pivotal year for them.
Jane N’ The Jungle have developed a reputation for their powerful live performances, which have seen them play at a wide array of famous festivals and legendary venues, including SXSW, Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room, and many more.
Phoenix New Times recognised them as one of “17 Metro Phoenix Bands To Watch in 2017”, while their tracks ‘Smoke & Dust’, and ‘Open Road Blues’, were featured in Honda prime time commercials. The band will be releasing a new album this year, recorded in part at Gravity Studios, Chicago, and also at 4th Street Recording, Santa Monica. The album is sponsored by Ford Motor Co.
‘Little Blue’ is a rock song and a half, and the video shows it. The band take the stage at the world famous Viper Room in West Hollywood, where Jordan and crew strut their stuff, while she later takes to the streets of LA, dressed in her leather jacket and jeans. Speaking of the track, Jordan said,
“‘Little Blue’ is the opening track of our upcoming record. It brings the fire out of the gate and grabs the audience in with its energy and attitude.”
If you love LA, and you love feisty female-led rock, you’re going to love this.
