Deezer Takes K-Pop Global with New K-Pop Channel

Deezer is a global music streaming service, with 14 million monthly active users around the world to 53 million tracks. Now Deezer is bringing K-Pop music to new audiences, with the launch of their brand new K-Pop channel.

The channel will provide a single global home for the genre, which is gaining momentum all over the world. Among the channel’s features will be exclusive personalised playlists from artists such as iKON, Stray Kids, and Day6.

iKON, the South Korean boy band, will provide their fans on Deezer an exclusive Hip Hop playlist, filled with their own personal inspirations. Speaking about the playlist, they said,

“Get ready? Showtime! Hello, Deezer K-Pop Channel fans! This is iKON, thank you for listening to our music in the K-Pop channel. We love iKONIC! Enjoy our music!”

The new Deezer channel will also feature editorial playlists, focusing on K-Pop and its sub-genres, including K-Pop Classics, K-Pop Indie Chill, and Top K-Pop. Fans looking for the very latest in the genre, should head to K-Pop New Releases, while there will be further Japanese content avaiable in Japanese K-Pop.

Fans can also access a selection of special ‘100%’ compilations featuring the very best tracks from the biggest talent of the genre, including global phenomenon, BTS. The ‘100%’ playlist series will feature Got7, TWICE, Wanna One, Monsta X and iKON.
