Timothy J. Wilson – ‘How ‘Bout We Make Love’

Timothy J Wilson grew up in White Plains, New York, but moved to Atlanta, Georgia, for the next stage of his career. A talented multi-instrumentalist, producer, and part-time actor, as well as singer and songwriter, Timothy has many strings to his bow. His latest single, ‘How ‘Bout We Make Love’ is a soulful RnB tune, with a touch of colourful funk.

The son of a preacher, Timothy J Wilson credits his passion for music to his early days, being exposed to to all aspects of music in the Church allowed him to hone his skills as a multi-instrumentalist. He secured his first professional recording gig while still a teen, performing as a session drummer for an Atlantic Records recording artist, through the recommendation of his Church’s organist.
Timothy founded his own record label, Tim’elody Records, and stated,
“You have to see yourself achieving your dreams, that will give you the will to push through even when the journey seems tedious.”
He’s also been pursuing his dreams in other areas too, being cast for an episode of BET show, ‘Let’s Stay Together’, and in the Warner Bros film, ‘The Nice Guys’. He’s also started his own show, ‘Timothy J. Wilson Live!’, where fans can enjoy an hour long performance from him for free. In 2012 he was chosen by Shanti Das (Laface, Universal Motown) to perform as the Artist of the Month at ATL Live on the Park.
His latest song, ‘How ‘Bout We Make Love’, is a straightforward message about a new stage of a relationship with a special woman. The video sets the stage, with silk robes, and rose petals. Shot in a candid fashion, “movie style”, the lyrics tell the story of each scene. It’s Timothy’s desire that listeners, particularly women, put themselves in the story the video tells, and understand the intimacy and sensual excitement as their own reality.
