MC REMY Releases New Single, ‘Breakthru’

Inspired by such hip hop luminaries as Eminem, Dr Dre, and Tinie Tempah, London-based MC Remy released his latest single, ‘Breakthru’, on February 1.

‘Breakthru’, was produced by MC Remy with the help of his friend and mentor Prospect. They hope to break into the UK Grime scene with the lyrics and tunes they’ve produced. Additionally, MC Remy aims to support charities such as Mind, Cancer Research, Pancreatic Cancer, and Leukaemia charities, and the NSPCC. His belief is that music can bring people together, and be a space for 100% positivity.
‘Breakthru’, which was released yesterday, on all major digital platforms, and features MC Remy rapping over a catchy mix of high energy dance music and a variety of sound effects, including breaking glass. Lyrically he takes listeners through his plans with his music – “money is not what it’s about – our first step is to breakthru to the nation – next step, world domination.”
MC Remy’s positivity is evident in ‘Breakthru’ – he has big ambitions and the track is his manifesto. It’s an empowering song, while maintaining humour and a catchy rhythm, which in no way detract from the message of the track.
You can find out more about MC Remy online on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. ‘Breakthru’ is available now to stream and download from all major digital media platforms.
